Help Artist

help artist“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see”.

We at Amitabh Buddhist Society could tell you; Yes! To every one of you from this society that art plays a big role in making our lives infinitely rich. Imagine, just for a minute, a world without art! By now your mind would have visualized, how empty, lonely, colorless and bland our lives would be without ART. Now let’s give our brains one more exercise. Now, please consider what impact lack of talent would have on our society and on our nation. This was a tricky one isn’t it?

We at ABS have under gone this exercise many a times and have figured a few significant points related to this:

  • About 60 percent of artists and related workers are self-employed.
  • Keen competition is expected for both salaried jobs and freelance work because the arts attract many talented people with creative ability.
  • Artists usually develop their skills through a bachelor's degree program or other postsecondary training in art or design.
  • Earnings for self-employed artists vary widely; some well-established artists earn more than salaried artists, while others find it difficult to rely solely on income earned from selling art.

We at ABS would like to call for a question in front of all of you that if every child is an artist, then why does he face problem to remain an artist once he grows up? When creativity is nurtured at a young age, children become leaders in any field they chose. “Every subject can be taught using arts,” “Cross-disciplinary innovations need to evolve. There are people those who do not get opportunity and platform to explore and expose their talents and art. We at ABS help those people who didn’t get platform to exhibit their art, so we help them financially to purchasing equipment in music, creative material, etc. which will be helpful for creators. We at ABS give them support, as well as arrange exhibitions for spreading their skill.

If there were a prerequisite for the future successful digital creative, it would be the passion for discovery. Artists create art to communicate ideas, thoughts, or feelings. There arises the urge to explore the platform for their talented art which we at ABS provide them.

ABS defines A Professional as; Artist is someone who is able to support themselves through their art. Professional artists may work as craft artists, fine artists, cartoonists, sketch artists, printmakers, multi-media artists, multi-media animators or illustrators.

According to those at the College Board, government economists predict that job growth for fine artists will be as fast as the average for all jobs. Unfortunately, there will be more artists than available jobs, so this field will be highly competitive

On the other hand, art is such a large part of our everyday lives that we may hardly even stop to think about it. Look at the desk or table where you are, right this minute. Someone designed that. It is art. Your shoes are art. Your coffee cup is art. All functional design, well done, is art. So, you could say "Art is something that is both functional and (hopefully aesthetically) pleasing to our eyes."
